Reports: Liverpool have already agreed terms to sign £88m Bayern target

RB Leipzig’s 19-year-old Ivorian winger Yan Diomande has rapidly emerged as one of the most exciting young forwards in European football.

The Ivory Coast international is enjoying a standout debut season in the Bundesliga, which has sparked strong interest from top clubs due to his impressive growth.

Bayern Munich are interested in the Leipzig talent, but reports from Bayern Space suggest that Liverpool may have already taken the lead in the pursuit, potentially securing a preliminary agreement with the player.

RB Leipzig acquired Diomande from LaLiga side Leganés last summer, treating him as a promising long-term prospect with immediate potential.

The transfer has paid off handsomely. In his inaugural campaign in Germany, the teenager has notched nine goals and seven assists in all competitions—remarkable stats for someone so young adjusting to a new league.

Diomande’s game thrives on blistering speed, smart positioning in wide zones, and cool-headedness in duels.

Bayern view him as a strong fit for their squad renewal plans.

That said, sources indicate the Bundesliga holders believe Liverpool have already struck a personal deal with the winger.

As part of their planning for the future on the flanks, Liverpool are drawn to Diomande’s youth and upside.

With Mohamed Salah’s long-term future at Anfield up in the air, the Reds could see the Ivorian as a potential successor to the Egyptian star.

RB Leipzig face no rush to offload him. Diomande is tied to the club until 2030, and they are said to be holding out for around £88 million if a deal progresses
