Liverpool are reportedly aiming to bolster their attack in January with a move for Rodrygo Goes, as they look to add both quality and depth ahead of Mohamed Salah’s AFCON absence.

The Brazilian forward is keen on securing consistent playing time and is prepared to leave Real Madrid to achieve that. As per Fichajes, Liverpool have already begun laying the groundwork for a potential deal and view Rodrygo as a major upgrade for the squad.

With Salah set to be unavailable during AFCON, the Reds are pushing for a marquee addition, and Rodrygo fits the profile. Despite limited minutes in Spain, his talent is unquestionable, and he remains a player with the ability to grow into a world-class attacker.

Capable of playing across all three forward positions, Rodrygo could be an excellent fit for Liverpool’s system. A regular role in the Premier League might help unlock his full potential, and with age on his side, he still has plenty of room to develop under the right coaching.
