Jannik Sinner, the Italian tennis sensation, has recently been in the spotlight not only for his on-court performances but also for his personal life. In May 2024, Sinner confirmed his relationship with Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya.

Kalinskaya, born on December 2, 1998, in Moscow, has made significant strides in her tennis career. She has clinched seven singles titles and nine doubles titles on the ITF Circuit, along with three WTA doubles titles. Her journey in tennis began at a young age, and she quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing her talent and determination.

The couple’s relationship became public during the French Open, where they were spotted together, sparking interest among fans and media alike. Despite the public interest, both Sinner and Kalinskaya have chosen to keep their relationship relatively private, focusing on their respective careers.

However, Sinner’s career faced a setback in early 2025 when he was involved in a doping case. He tested positive for clostebol during the Indian Wells Masters 1000, leading to a suspension from February to May 2025. This suspension meant missing four of the nine Masters 1000 tournaments of the season.

During his suspension, Sinner has been preparing for his return to the court. He spent time in Dubai with Kalinskaya and has been considering training in locations like Alicante or the French Riviera to practice on clay courts. Plans are also underway to train in Monte Carlo from April 13, with efforts to find suitable practice partners to maintain his form and readiness for competition.

The support from Kalinskaya during this challenging period has been evident, as the couple continues to navigate both their personal and professional lives. Their relationship has been highlighted among the notable tennis couples, drawing attention to how they balance their high-profile careers with their personal connection.

As Sinner’s suspension nears its end, fans eagerly anticipate his return to the ATP Tour, hopeful that he will regain his momentum and continue his ascent in the tennis world. With Kalinskaya by his side, both professionally and personally, Sinner’s comeback is one of the most awaited events in the upcoming tennis season.
