Andre Agassi y la espectacular comparación de Carlos Alcaraz con el Big 3

The final of Roland Garros 2025 was not another match. Carlos Alcaraz (2nd in the world ranking) beat Jannik Sinner (1st) by 4-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (3) and 7-6 (2), in five and a half hours of play, it is the longest final in the history of the tournament.

Many echoed. Like Andre Agassi, in charge of delivering the trophy. And he compared it to the Big 3.

“This guy has defense and speed like Novak (Djokovic), if not more. He feels it (the ball) like Roger Federer, you could even argue if not more sometimes. He’s going to the same revolutions per minute of pace as Rafa Nadal. You could argue that maybe more sometimes,” Agassi said bluntly about that comparison of Alcaraz in some aspects of the game with the tennis big three.

” Carlos Alcaraz moves like a UFO on the court. He doesn’t play defensively, not even when he’s between the sword and the wall. He has all the qualities of the Big Three, perhaps even more,” said the American, champion of the tournament in 1999 and holder of eight Grand Slam titles, on TNT Sports.
