The American partner is the same one with whom he won in St. Petersburg in 2022

Finally a reason for smiling. After losing, in singles, the challenge with Alycia Parks (6-4, 6-3 the partials of the match), Anna Kalinskaya immediately returned to success. The Russian tennis player, paired with the American Caty McNally, managed to win the doubles quarterfinal pass at Indian Wells.

At the end of a very complicated game, Anna Kalinskaya and Caty McNally got the better of the Routliffe-Dabrowski duo. The first partial was won at the tie-break (7-5). In the second, after a long battle, the pair Kalinskaya-McNally set 7-5.

In the quarterfinals they will face the pair of Olivia Nicholls and Tereza Mihalikova. Given the difficult moment she is experiencing at a sporting level, for the 26-year-old Russian it is very important that, at least in the double, victories arrive that certainly give so much moral.

Waiting to find a way to excel even in the singular, Anna Kalinskaya will now try to get to the bottom of the Indian Wells women’s doubles board. To date, the Russian boasts three WTA titles in the doubles. Curiously, the last victory, in St. Petersburg in 2022, came in a couple with Caty McNally. Is it the right time to come back to toast together with a great result?
