“Anna Kournikova virus,” also known as the Anna Kournikova worm, was a malicious computer worm that spread via email in 2001.

The virus was named after her because it was disguised as an email attachment supposedly containing a picture of her. The virus, however, was actually a harmful script that spread itself by sending out copies to contacts in the infected user’s Microsoft Outlook address book.
