Nole wants to take revenge

It will be a final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz. After the final at Wimbledon a few weeks ago, it will still be the Serbian and Spanish players who will play a very important final. On the other side of the field Carlos Alcaraz after winning Roland Garros and Wimbledon in series wants to add also the Olympic tournament at 21 years.

Carlitos never hid his desire to win the gold medal: “Honestly it’s gonna a be a really special moment for me in my life and career. I’ll try to enjoy this moment. It’s gonna be difficult for sure, but it’s gonna be special. I’ll try to focus on myself. I’ll try not to hear all the fans and people saying I’m gonna win. I just wanna give my 100% and my best tennis. Hopefully I’ll reach my goal to get the gold.”

Djokovic knows he is not favorite against Alcaraz: “He won Roland Garros, he won Wimbledon, beat me in the finals quite comfortable there, reached the finals [here] without dropping a set. I mean I did too but I think the way he is playing, he’s definitely a favourite. But it’s Olympics, it’s really anybody’s game I think. We haven’t faced each other on clay in a while, I think the only time we played here was last year’s semi-final of Roland Garros. I feel like I’m a different player than I was in Wimbledon, the way I move, the way I’m striking the ball.”
