Every NBA fan has Michael Jordan’s heroics in their memories forever. His legacy will live on forever. Despite the fact that Jordan was a human person, he elevated himself to the level of a deity, despite the fact that he was an individual. It is tough to fathom that the man who won NBA titles for fun was intimidated by someone. This is a very understandable and reasonable assumption. In 1998, His Airness gave an interview to Vanity Fair in which he revealed that he had been scared by the likes of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.
Despite the fact that Jordan went on to become probably the greatest player in the history of basketball, it is logical that he would feel scared by the players he looked up to. At a later point in his career, even his heroes acknowledged the magnificence of the Chicago Bulls legend. In the course of his conversation, the six-time NBA champion dissected the disparity between the way he viewed his heroes on the floor and how he viewed them off the court.
When other NBA superstars used to terrify Michael Jordan, he learned to overcome his fear.
Jordan continued to be under the impression that he was the best player on the hardwood court, despite the fact that he did not fear them on the court. When Jordan was younger, he had a different perspective on his idols because of their personalities and the manner in which they carried themselves off the court. The following is an excerpt from an interview that he gave to Vanity Fair in the year 1998: “I wasn’t afraid of them on the court, because I believed I had the skills to compete with anybody.”
