JANNIK SINNER. How his father, a chef, and mother, a waitress, taught him the value of hard work

It’s almost impossible not to like Jannik Sinner. The upcoming Italian has fantastic tennis coupled with a great way to interpret the sport. Jannik is an extremely hard worker and also amazingly humble despite his recent success.

During a recent interview, Jannik confessed that he got his work ethic from his father Johann, a chef, and mother Siglinde, a waitress.

 

“I have it [the work ethic] from my parents because they are working every day a simple job,” Sinner commented. “They know what it means to work hard. They gave me this kind of mindset, always trying your best day after day and trying to don’t lose energy during your job.”

Since Jannik turned 14, he moved to the Italian Riviera to train with veteran coach Riccardo Piatti that has managed to further Jannik’s skill. Riccardo is a key element in Jannik’s growth as he gathered some valuable
