Ferrari champion Lewis Hamilton has ignited a storm in the world of Formula 1 with his criticism biting on the recent rules on flexi-wing. After qualifying session in Barcelona, Hamilton did not hold back his words, stating that the new regulations are a complete waste of money that ultimately made no difference on the track.

The Formula 1 community was looking forward to the impact of the most stringent tests on the flexibility of the front wing to the Spanish Grand Prix, hoping that they could level the playing field and challenge McLaren’s dominance. However, to the disappointment of many, the changes seemed to have had little or no effect, as the Woking-based team continued his reign securing the front row at Circuit de Catalunya.

Hamilton went so far as to suggest that the funds earmarked for implementing these rules would be better used if donated to charity, emphasizing his belief that the changes did not achieve their intended purpose.
