Carlos Alcaraz has a particularity: he is the current winner of the last four Grand Slam tournaments played in Europe.
In this context, the longest-running Roland Garros final champion in history now moves to the lawn, a surface on which he presents his best average of victories although he played only 27 games, of which he won in 24 to win the Wimbledon titles the last two years.
And his schedule wasn’t going to leave unknowns. As usual, his return would be at Queen’s next week, and then heading to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, where he will face his fifth participation at Wimbledon.
However, nothing ensures whether he will compete in the traditional previous tournament, in London, which begins next Monday. The doubt about the tennis player’s participation was revealed by his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, in an interview with Cadena Ser.
“The plan is to play, but we will make a final decision in a few days. We talked about it in the middle of the tournament and Carlos told us he really wanted to go. After these days of rest, on Thursday or Friday, we will give you a test to see how he is physically and mentally,” said Juan Carlos Ferrero.
“We will resume on grass training to adjust mobility problems. We will go to Wimbledon with great enthusiasm; Carlos loves to play there,” explained who was recognized for his talent on clay courts and for being No.1 in the world, in addition to staying with Roland Garros.
As usual, Wimbledon 2025, the world’s oldest tennis tournament (early in 1877), will be held at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London from Monday 30 June to Sunday 13 July 2025. There, 100%, will be from the game.
