Title: Tiger Woods Eyes Monthly Comeback on PGA Tour

Tiger Woods, the 15-time major winner, has revealed his ambitious plan to return to the PGA Tour with a regularity of one event per month in 2024. After a challenging 2023 marked by injury setbacks, Woods is set to make his comeback in February after skipping the January events.

Woods faced a series of physical challenges in 2023, playing only three times during the year. His comeback at last year’s Genesis was followed by a disappointing withdrawal from the Masters due to injury before a prolonged recovery from an ankle issue kept him away from the course for an extended period.

The golfing icon made a second comeback at the year-ending Hero World Challenge in December, marking the end of a tumultuous season. Following his time in the Bahamas, the PGA Tour announced that Woods would kick off his 2024 campaign in Los Angeles in February, adhering to his commitment to playing one event per month.

In a statement at the Hero World Challenge in December, Woods expressed his intent, saying, “I think that the best scenario would be maybe a tournament a month.” Emphasizing the alignment of major events with this schedule, he acknowledged the need to prepare himself for the upcoming challenges. Woods sees the current structure of major tournaments as conducive to his plan, setting the stage for a potential resurgence.

Having opted to skip January, Woods aims to regain his competitive edge in Los Angeles next month. The choice of the event and golf course holds personal significance for Woods, adding an extra layer of anticipation to his return.

As the golfing world eagerly awaits Tiger Woods’ return to regular competition, the legend’s commitment to a measured and strategic comeback strategy sets the stage for a compelling and potentially triumphant 2024 season.
